Cicada 3301 – Poster Design by Avemo Studio

About the project

For the short film Cicada 3301, we designed a poster that draws on the mystery and enigma of the infamous internet puzzle. The stark black backdrop is interrupted by a pixelated cicada form and bold red typography, evoking both secrecy and urgency. Referencing cryptography and hidden codes, the design captures the dark, conspiratorial tone of the story and sets the stage for a cinematic exploration of one of the web’s most intriguing legends.
